Hotkey [1]

Post by Primal Fury »

Sorry if I am being thick, but what does the hex text mean when hotkey 1 is used?

Eg Oa, Cw, Cm, Lm, Cc, etc. ?

I don't see it in the manual anywhere...thanks.

The terrain type. Look at the Hotkey page (Page 13)

Yes, but, for example, what is Oa and what is Cc and Lw and Lm?

Thanks.

Ok, thanks.

So Cw is Costal woods? and Cm would be costal mountains? Oa would be ocean but I don't know what "a" is. I'm not sure what Cc is either.

I know this seems like a dumb question but it is not actually documented anywhere.

Can't remember them all, but look at the two types of O? One is deep water, one is shallow.

Btw: Congrats on making it to page 13 of the manual. You seem to be one of the few to even notice there ARE hotkeys [:D]

It would be nice to have a list of all those 2-letter combinations, if anyone knows. I have already assumed that Oa is for ocean and Ow for shallow water (or the other way around?) [:'(]

I use the hotkey for hex side details all the time...Hex side details really junk up the map but they are needed frequently IMO.

Hey, I thought reading the manual is optional for Gary Grigsby games! [8|]
