I can also verify that this terribly annoying bug is still there. Try the Coral Sea scen. [:@]

Since it's not mentioned in the readme.txt file for the patch, I gathered that it was not fixed anyway. Could we pretty please have an interim fix for this bug. IMHO it's making all introductory scenarios (that is, scenarios that all of us learning the game try first) if not unplayable, certainly not fun.

I am a bit disappointed, I must say. I understand that sound fixes etc had higher priority, but in all honesty, since this is a known important bug, easily verified (and from what I have heard in this forum, traceable and fixable) it should have been fixed.

I guess I'll have to stop playing until it is addressed, I've had the game for weeks, and that's about the only thing that's annoying me to bits. Other than that, the game has been wonderfully stable and quite enjoyable though, but that one bug alone is enough.

Could we have an official answer as to when this will be fixed please?

Coralsaw,

Since you have mentioned that this is a known bug and easily traceable, is it possible you could provide a link to another thread where this is described or give an explanation of how this occurs. I think Mr. Frag is interested in this problem, and anymore information provided could really help. Thanks.

Of course, here you are Sundevil. Along with Mr Frag's indication as to its cause and fix ETA. Anything else, please shout.

Maybe I need to run my new scenario a bit to see if this is there... The closest thing I've seen to it is the TF's that are running when the scenario starts. (scen 15). With that in place I don't see a problem... Yet who knows... I've been running so problem free, I had more reason to grumble about futzy forum issues then the game. LOL!

Still, I'll keep watch as well. Got a war to win afterall! [8D]

2Stepper,

Apparently, this bug only happens in partial map scenarios.

If anyone from the test/dev team needs me to re-trace this bug, I'll be happy to provide save files, options list etc.

Bump.

Take your time, but please reply if and when the bug will be fixed. Even if it's, "in the next patch, ETA unknown". Although I'd prefer earlier to be honest. [:)]

I'll make sure this gets bump up again, if it falls off the first page.

Coralsaw,

I just reread this post, have you downloaded the patch 1.21 that was released today to fix some of the smaller scenario files. Please download this patch and post whether or not this is still an issue. Thanks. You can find the link to the new patch at the top of the first page.

Mr Frag & Sundevil,

I have just tried (patched 1.21) Coral Sea scenario, IJN, Hard difficulty, and the bug is still there. Do you mean the bug is fixed but not in 1.21 or am I having some other issue?

If you need more details, please let me know.

ps. Thanks for the reply.

Then a save game with either this bug happening or a save game with the turn before the bug happens would be the next step.

I'm still seeing the auto-created convoys as well. With the same settings.

Can provide saves as well if needed (for comparisons).
