Why is it that every time the game crashes the last autosave is always in the negative points for your campaign? I was at well over 2.5k points in operation shinning fortress at we attacked the argus carrier group (already destroyed the two frigate and serverly dammaged the carrier and two destroyers)

we flew in with on a stealth aproach and we destroyed the two destroyers and dammaged the carrier's quantum drive. (which is strange because that is the first time I have managed to damage a quantum drive on someone so I was happy about that) then we land at the starbase and it displays the points for the mission and the events. click ok and bam i am at the desktop. log back in and the autosave for right before the last mission is now displaying -230 points. the two destoryers are back as it didnt autosave after that last mission but right before it.

I dont really want to continue on that save because the low mission points makes it seem like we are looseing when they are almost carrierless.

any clues?

Seems like the crash translates to a mission fail on points ... use a Save, not the Autosave. Then you don't get nailed when it bombs.
