Bug report for StarShatter

Post by koldar »

Hi there, is this the correct place to post bug reports? The AI settings could be bugged. I have tested the settings for Veteran and Rookie and both appear to produce the same AI. When reading the description, the Rookie AI is performing much better than it should be. When in a dog fight (with Rookie AI) the computer usually starts firing missiles at quite a distance...always. After that, if they miss, they begin to fire guns which rarely miss my ship as well as my element's ships.

RE: Bug report for StarShatter

To continue this posting, I have found two other "features" of startshatter that may or may not be functioning correctly.

1. Friendly Fire stetting seems to be tied directly to all damage, not just friendly fire. When set to "No Damage" no missles do damage to enemys, nor do guns. This happens consistently.

2. I have the mission starting problem as well. I have found a pattern to starting in the middle of a sector that is the incorrect sector. You start out in space, but the ship mimics the flight launch animations as though you were launching from a carrier. The pattern is when you start the game. If you have been playing mission after mission, you will (probably) not experience this. I have found that this happens to me everytime I start the game after exiting. I end up either having to take a farcaster or end the mission. Once I end the mission (other than aborting it) I start out on a carrier again. This started happening after I applied the 4.0.2 patch from 4.0.0. Good luck devs!
