inland unit supply?

Post by john martino »

How are units marching inland kept in supply. I have allied units one hex north of Wau moving toward Lae. Wau has alot of supplies but the units moving out from Wau seem to be short of supply. The hexes do not have airfields so I can not transport via air.
Also when allied move through a space that had a Jap. flag will that hex convert to an allied flag or symbol? These hexes are north west of Wau. They appear to be unoccupided Jap. bases and I moved thur them and see no change of status?????
Sorry if these questions have been asked before as I am sure they have been!

Units marching inland are automatically supplied by the nearest landbase;the further they are from the base the less supplies they get as they are a lot of supplies losses on the way.Move a HQ unit with your combat units can help.

If you want to conquer an enemy base, let you troops march to this base, then launch a deliberate attack it will become yours.
