Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

I downloaded the tao2.exe from the site-----run5.After installing the game,I run the game.But it tell me:cannot initialise the bitmap![X(]WHat it means??[&:]Somebody help me![&o]

Hi Tiger,
What operating system do you use? TAO does not work on the more recent ones due to the fact it was written so long ago. If you want to play that scenario on a current operating system, then you will need to purchase either Korsun Pocket, or Battles In Normandy (available soon) as the TAO battle is included in each.

As far as i know, TAO should work on win98 - what version of directX do you have? Are you video drivers up to date?
It may be a corrupted download, so try downloading again and re-installing.
