Some of you guys got it easy. This game cost me almost 700.00

WITP = 80.00
6 season passes to Six Flags over Texas = 480.00
1 new outfit = 120.00 w/shoes

But it was worth it. Now they spend most weekends at Six Flags and leave me at home with my game.
Of course I got away with it because I saw the CC bill for the passes about the same time as I was buying this.

Did not have the nerve to ask her why I was paying for the GF's sister and her 2 kids too.

Ouch, US$700, I feel much better. I was grumbling over the A$30 charge for the wire transfer.

I may be able to sweeten her up with a handbag, that's her one weakness.

I've suggested she go out shopping this weekend, and I'll suggest that she get "something nice".

Its all too easy.

Unfortunately, my girlfriend gets allergic reactions when I head in the direction of my computer [:(] - and the 'puter is located near the hallway, so each time I visit the bathroom, the fridge, the kid or the cat, I have to pass by it ...
I told her about my obsession with wargaming when we started dating and she said it wouldn't be a problem beacuse she's a tv addict and I could play while she's watching bs on tv. Well, I should have insisted on a written statement...
The only thing that helps a bit is reminding her occasionally that I gave up home, friends, 'career', all my other hobbies etc. in order to live with her in her home country. Heck, I even quit smoking to please her.
So, the remnants of my dignity and self-respect now rest on my ability to defend the right to play WitP. To all my fellow sufferers I say:
We shall not flag nor fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France and on the seas and oceans; we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our right to play WitP whatever the cost may be; we shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender and even if, which I do not for the moment believe, this player or others were subjugated by the wife or girlfriend and starving for WitP, then our fellow wargamers beyond the seas, armed and guarded by Matrix Games and 2by3, will carry on the struggle until in God's good time the New World with all its power and might, sets forth to the liberation and rescue of the Old.

The wait is over. I've passed off the expenduiture as a journal subscription. Surprisingly, she allowed me to spend some $$ on a USB wireless network adapter so I can use the computer up in "The Tower".

It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

Now how am I going to explain the A$83 I'm going to have to fork out for Rome Total War?

It begins anew.....

If your GF sees your avatar you might want to change your sn to "fast hard to hit Target"

If LST is LST then presumably the missus is a LCM(R) (breathing fire and all that).

My gaming is more cramped by having an LVT* about

*A little crawler.
