How exactly does this feature work? I 'm playing US in Manila '44 against Japanese but I'm demied any air but the opponent gets his. The japanese didn't really have any air force except for naval by this time, right? At least MacArthur had plenty of planes, right?

The Japanese had tons of planes, up to the end of the war. They threw over 1000 into the Okinawa battle, and, though they lost most - if not all - they had thousands more on the Home Islands.

We had better planes, and better pilots by this time, but they still had a ton.

Hi.

I think it is the button of Air Sorties, in the preferences menu, what you are talking about. Not rarity factor. You can tune it.
Rarity factor sometimes does the wrong thing, but is an awesome feature. It works by making available, or not, some piece of equipment in the purchase menu. But if you dont have Air sorties availables, it doesn't matter.

WHat it means when you cant get planes is that you dont have air supperiority(sorry cant spell this afternoon)...but most fights that you do have aur cover they let you buy it...so keep winning youll get planes eventually
