Scenario 1.21 fixes

Post by Lemurs! »

Hi all,

My scenario 26 is done and fully compatible with 1.21.
Spooky has put it up on his site so let the charge begin.

There were a few new changes, i implimented Walruses & L2D2's, I adjusted quite a few Commonwealth sqdrns, and fiddled more with aircraft upgrade paths.

About aircraft range & armament? Yeah, i did some of it... I made the G3/G4 shorter ranged, I added to the range of the B17/B24. A bunch of other things. I added the Hurri2B and gave it some range as it was, with tanks, longer ranged than the SpitV.

I adjusted the L2D2 as good as possible.
One of the problems i had was that even though the L2D2s engines were alot weaker than the C47 the L2D2 cargo load was listed as 4500kg while the C47 cargo load was listed as around 3750kg.
Range is usually listed as similar.

Something does not add up.

Take a look at my scenario and tell e what you think.
Then give me an email with the things you think i should change and i will incorporate them as well.

Thanks,

Mike

I recal that the Japanese engines were actualy more powerfull, depending on model, than some othe standard engines on the C47...though it was some time ago when I compared them, then it was for a flight sim...

I will take a look at it, probably will not have time for a couple days but will try and do so early next week. Most of the range issues I posted on were for future referance by me, as I nead to do the math on them, but their are several aramament and ordance issues amongst others contained in the posts, I reviewed every Japanese plane in the OOB, for the most part.
