Hi Guys

Marshall been demoing the game and the EIA fans have been going wild. We been thrilled by the response. We had a meeting on this project tonight and things should start moving pretty fast now. We have a few minor issues we want to address but no major things.

No major things unless you are the Turks.[;)][:D][:D]

Will empires in arms be at Gen Con at the end of august? I know it is a big board game convention. However I would think a lot of fans will be at the convention.

I managed to catch a demo of EiA at WBC yesterday. Nobody seemed to know what to do with it except David Heath, so he gave the demo himself. (Thank you again, David!)

I like the way you can set the AI for each indvidual country to easy/medium/hard, and with other comments last week about random profiles added in for each AI opponent this should be very good for replayability.

The maps and battle screens looked good. Nice soundtrack. I'm looking forward to playing this one.

I think, the IA is only to get used to the game , since i assume all of us have played the board game, could you imagine a Rusian IA attacking Turkey to weak it and just let Austria figth freely against France in a next war, or let Great Britain get the north of Africa, this kind of tricks is only for human brains, NEVER an IA could make a good diplomatic effort...

where could we find an Empire in Arms demo

Just to clarify, I did not see THE demo the other day since there is no demo. What I saw was a demonstration of the latest beta version. And that's as good as it gets, eh? [8D]
i assume all of us have played the board game

Actually, I have never played EiA. I did play AH's War and Peace back in the pre-EiA days. I was hoping to maybe catch a game of EiA being played at WBC but it wasn't even listed. Out of what, 100+ boardgames being played and no EiA? You diehards must be hiding out someplace. [:'(]

Bill...I tried selling my copy of War and Peace on Ebay just last week, because I'm in the process of moving, and space is at a premium....I did not get a sniff...not even Guns of August went....in a way I was glad they didn't sell.....
