I see a lot of players are seeking a Jap opponent, so I'll throw my two cents in and state that I am too. I have one game as the Japs and would like to play one as allies. Prefer scenarios #15 or #16.

Am willing to play o bit on the gamey side to test different types of tactics... i.e. varible entry scheduals, no auto convoys, and the like.

You actually want auto convoy? I would not trust the computer to run it.

Since you want 2 day turns ( I usually play 1 day) it may take a little longer to set up. 1 day turns I have one ready to go right now.

I usually use only 1 port attack allowed turn 1. Allied gives orders to TF's at sea, no others.

The turn ready to go is a non historical though. let me know which.

Ok, I'll go 1 day turns. No biggy to me. 1 port attack? I take it your refering to the Japs? That's ok too.

Allied to give orders to TF's at sea only on turn 1 is fine. And I'll go with auto convoy off. Did you want to go with a pure historical one or will the variable reinforcement entry still be ok?

If this is all ok, just send the 1st turn and state what's on/off on what we discussed in the Email.

I need to print it out so I remember to change the setting when I open the file each time. Unless the game remembers for me.

On reinforcements we can go either one. Far as I know the game now (after the patches)
remembers the switch settings.

I'll get it set up and sent. May have to make some changes, since an AAR is being done on one of my starts, would not want you too know what's coming and where.[:D]

Well I know the day feature will be at whatever you had it last set at. I found this out from another PBEM game that I'm playing. I usually play 2 day turns against the AI And it stayed that way when I played the PBEM turn. No biggy. I can just make a list of our options and put it up on the puter to make sure they always stay the same for us.
