Ver 7.0 SNLF HQ unit breaks speed record (102mph)

Post by Panzer Commander »

Started a WWII campaign and during the first battle a SNLF HQ unit came bursting out of the jungle at 102mph according to the pop-up window.

WOW, thats would have been inhumanly fast even in Km/h. You should be happy that you have the 100-meter finalists of the Olympics as a HQ!!!
Seriously, that seems pretty weird.

Clarification: The SNLF HQ was the AI. I was US Army and my scout was nearly trampled by this unit.

Did it actually move like 50 hexes, or was it just a typo in the window?

There are still some typos that appear like that every so often, but they don't effect game play...unless this is something new!

Just stand aside and let him through, he'll never be able to stop in time to shoot at anyone before he's in Japan.

Wouldn't you be moving at 102 mph if one of your guys had just stepped on a mine?

Mikimoto: Yes, it's the 6 million dollar man!!! And, of course, he's so fast, that they had to put him in slow motion to show him, which, in this case is 102MPH.

I would think that after stepping on a mine, that 102 mph - straight up - would be pretty accurate.
