To clearify: Morpheus and Kazaa uses one server, Limewire, Bearshare and Gnotella uses one (other) server. These are so called peer-to-peer clients, they give others of the same network access to a specific folder or filetype within a folder, and they are not limited to the mp3 format only, like Audiogalaxy.
Sending a file to a specific user is something different.
Rambling on like this is also something different, but I just can´t stand it when people take me wrong

I use mIRC for personal file transfer. Anyone know which is better AIM or mIRC?

Warhorse: Welcome to the fortys man. I just turned 40 on December 4th and I felt nostalgic too. But hey some say live begins at 40, let's hope they are right.

By the way: I don't know the 4 Seasons but I will seach for it at Morpheus. The music you were looking remind me another which is "who's gonna tell you when it's too late...who's gonna drive you home, tonight". Do you know it? I just love that one: it's "Drive" from the Cars . Also from our generation isn't it?

Hey man, yes that's the Cars, love them too!! Also like funk, and old Zeppelin, funny, after going through a time of heavy metal, and other styles, it's always back to the other!! Still like metal, but nothing like old fav's....

You bet!

I used to be listening to music all the time but somehow in the last years it went a bit off my habits, due to work and other interests.

But recently, about 3-4 months ago I discovered Morpheus and I went like crazy and downloaded tons of music to my PC most of it oldies. I'm now sharing almost 700 music files from which more than 300 are from The Beatles (I'm only 8 musics away to have all from them including demos, rehersals etc.).

But I have a little bit of everything, I try to have at least 2-3 musics from my favorite groups or singers.

At the moment I'm mostly downloading american black music: Temptations, Barry White, Delphonics, Imagination, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Nat King Cole, Otis Redding, etc.,etc, etc. Also some reggae mostly Bob Marley and UB40.

Pax27: you're right, sonnyboy. I remember well the annoucement made by President Kennedy when the Beatles played at Woodstock. They stopped the show and we heard it over the short-wave TV. We'd just dropped the H-bomb on Bikini Island, and then the Germans surrendered. We'll forever remember what us baby boomers now call VD Day. It may not have happened exactly that way, since we were all shooting up pot back then.
