Help please

Fellows:

AS I stated earlier, I am working my way through the first tutorial...having a great experience! In the manuals explanation of the tutorial it mentions having certain units facing certain directions by using the facing tool. Fellows I assure you I have read the manuals tutorial several times and I cannot see a reference to a facing tool and I cannot see a button on the orders bar for facing. How do I get units to face? What tool is the reference to, what does it look like and where is it on the screen that mine lazy eyes cannot find it?

when giving orders you should see a clocklike object at the bottom next to frontage and depth. This is the facing tool. If you don't click on it facing is set to auto, but if you want to make sure where your guys are facing click the dial in the right direction.
