custom star systesm: moon orbits and nebulas

ok, so im doing a custome solar system and I have 2 questions:
1) How do I setup synconuse prbots? i.e. Like Earth's moon and many of Jupiters moons have synco orbits.
2)Nebulas. Or the life of me I cann't get these to show up. And pointers?
