wasn't this fixed?
I have that stipid tf in December 41 headed to Lunga with fuel... auto convoy off, all area set to human control..... do you want the save...???
this is a pisser
OK, they are comming from Osaka, and it has auto off as well, and get this , 5 tf loaded with fuel.... the folks in Japan must be planning operation fuel dump... after all this fuel gets there it will have more fuel than any three bases...
Playing at normal level against us ia...
version 1.21
So.. A.... no auto convoy used anywhere
B... Lunga? why send fuel thier anyway
C. 5 tfs?
D. No auto convoy or area under comp control ever!!!
E. Dec 23 save others may have earlier events as well
F. please help Officer in charge of fuel explaining how that since the imperialist have broken the codes, he is sure, he sent these as a diversion, knowing they could go to Truk, Palou Kweiglien Rabaul, and other places.

RE: wasn't this fixed?
I'm still trying to translate it so I can figure out the question [:)]

RE: wasn't this fixed?
Right.. lets try into English( American ) from my native tongue ( in check)
The computer is creating auto convoys even though no base is set to auto convoy, no area is on computer control, using the most recent patches, etc?
Sorry as I was in a fit my thoughts where less than coherent...
fyi the supply routing officer in Japan has mysteriously been replaced lol
the details are 5 tf created with Osaka as home port and Lunga as destination. all full of fuel.
Is this Bug on the list .... I know we reported it the first go round...?
Any clearer now or still unclear?

RE: wasn't this fixed?
You missed mentioning the scenario number ... makes quite a difference as to whether it is a production or non-production version. Non-production = known bug to be fixed in next patch, Production = new bug never reported before.
RE: wasn't this fixed?
oops... scenario 15
right makes a big difference.. I reported this exact error/ bug in the initial release
that was why I was so surprised to see it again..
any thoughts?

Never seen it mentioned in a Scenario 15 (production on). Only seen it mentioned in a non-production Scenario. (3,4,5,etc).
Got a save of the turn just before it happens?
RE: wasn't this fixed?
I could probably create one by replaying the game several turns until it starts this and save along the way

RE: wasn't this fixed?
OK, replayed from an early turn and saved... next turn this computer controlled convey shows up in Osaka.. I saved both to seperate slots.. where do these go.. to you MR. Frag [8D]

Thats why I asked for the saves ... what you are talking about is not the same as the standard automatic convoys being formed on turn 2 or 3 of the small scenarios.
RE: wasn't this fixed?
[:D] or [&o] or [:@] depending onm which side of the opatch we are on... you should have the files.. thanks

43 Campaign. V1.21
I too have the same problem. So this "bug" is repeatable.[:D]
Auto convyoy for the alllies will "steal" AK type ships from manually created convoys at San Francisco.
I am playing with only the North and East areas under Human control. All other areas are under computer control.
More info.... I just took the computer control off of all those areas. Saved and quit the game. Restarted, made a new AK only transport task force at San Francisco with a destination of Pearl Harbor and it stuck around.... Loading supplies now.
Gonna run some tests to see what area put under computer control causes the problem to appear.
Here is what I did:
Created one ship transport task force at San Fran every turn with a destination of Pearl.
Turn one no computer controlled areas.....No Problems
Then each turn I added one more area to computer control.
North West, No Prob
West, No Prob
South West, No Prob
South, No Problem
South East, PROBLEM showed up again. The ship that was placed in the Task Force for Pear Harbor was back in the San Fran pool.
Gonna try some more variations to see if it is just the South East area or some combination.
Back with more:
Turned all areas back to human control.
Made a task force. No Problem.
Set South East to computer control. PROBLEM
Set South East to Human control. No Problem.
Set South East to computer control. PROBLEM.
Quit that game started a new 41B Hoping the South East area is the culprit.
Set South East to Computer control. Made a convoy. Ran first turn NO Problem (Darn).
Set South to Computer control, made convoy, PROBLEM again. It may take a turn to show up.
Quit that game started a new 1945 campaign.
Set south East to computer control. Made convoy. PROBLEM.
So there you go..... Setting South East to Computer control will cause your AK task forces to be stolen by the computer.
I seem to remember there was a similar issue with the North area which is why I did not test it. That will be next!!!!

RE: wasn't this fixed?
Exceipt my forces where IJN, and neverwhere any areas or bases set to computer control . The saved games where recreated and forwarded.. it seems Lunga triggers a response to send massive fuel needed reuest, like almost the fuel in Osaka, so it is a strange bug on so many levels.. not just to create fuel to go where it is not wanted, but to create tf;s in such abundance.. in my game Truk now has ALOT lol

RE: wasn't this fixed?
I've got one too. Campaign game 15. 1.21 started at 1.00
I have always had all areas under human control. No autoconvoy ships or ports... I took over one convoy started at SF for Nauru, and another one pops up this turn.
files if you need them

RE: wasn't this fixed?
Send pm to frag and ask if they want more... this should not be needed as I went back to a pre error turn and recreated it...
Probably on the bigbug list, but thats what I said last time lol
