Need Help

Post by Nikalai »

Well I bought the game and am waiting for it to be delivered. I still need help with a few demo missions from Red Devils so I can be ready for the real thing. Especially since I am not used to wargames. All I need is some general tips about reorganizing and other game concpets. My plan of attack for one demo mission was for half my force to seize a vital road and to supress the enemy while my other force was to drive for Loreon (i think that's whats its called). The campaign I am playing is called drive on to Loreon. I am not sure you have it since its Red Devils. However any help would be gratefull. Tommorow I will post a scrensot of the map- since the information I am giving you is vague.

Drive on Loenen?

That's one of the toughest missions in the game [:)]. The tight time limit and close terrain make that a real nail-biter. Try a forum search for "Loenen" though, you should get a few hits including some good tips!

HTTR ships with a great manual, written by Dave "Arjuna" O'Connor, the first third of which is a really good tutorial that takes you through all the basics of playing the game. There's also a strategy guide, written by me and Steve Barnes, available for download. If you do a forum search for "Strategy Guide" you should find some comments from folks who've bought the Guide so you can decide whether it's worth it for you or not.

Enjoy the game!
