Attack on West coast as Jap

Would it be considered totaly gamey (in a PBEM and/or PvAI) to send my KB to rampage the US West coast, with its ports full of AK's, AP's and other bomb magnets.

Seems to me it might be a good way to slow down American ground reinforcements to the SW pacific.
