Well that would be a first - me posting normally kills a thread dead.

Tempted to not say anything just to see who turns up but...

What I was thinking was that the FAQ on the forum is a bit dated now - I know our Matrix friends are bug hunting/patching, I hope, but newbies need something. Then I remembered spookies site and the guide is pretty good. But getting old fast - I don't know how S keeps that updated. We were spoiled by the pacwar guide by Bear(?). I also worry we lose great stuff from the board.

I just think you need several different guides;
- a operational (that's for mogami) /tactical guide,
- a expansive, what to do in a turn guide,
- how to/do not's on specifc subjects - mines, subs, supply production to cut down RTFMs
and a pointer to the 'what the patch does' txts and the wishlist.

Just a thought.

Kid triple-duties at owner of the FAQ and Coordinator for all the Testers and keeper of the Lists. Too much for 1 human being to do.

If one of you folks would like to grab it, clean it up, and send it back, he'd probably be a happy camper.

The FAQ (aka Unofficial Strategy Guide) in the WITP Fansite is a compilation of the Kid's FAQ + various interesting posts in the Matrix forum.

Because of some Real life interactions, I do not have the time to look at all the threads so if you read something interesting in a thread - just send me an e-mail or a Private Message and I will add it to the next version of the FAQ

I have started consolidating and organizing the FAQ list to make it compatible with the manual, but a few things have slowed me up. Not the least of which was Charlie.[:(]
