was the only Allied ship to sink a German, Italien and Japanese submarine during the war? [&:]

Well...the Ward sank a (midget) sub on Dec 7th, and the Monaghan sank another one later in the day. So that's two on day one. And I really can't believe there weren't many others in the next four years. So it seems you have your facts mixed up. Now speaking of German U-boats, I certainly know offhand many were laid waste by allied ships.

So I'd guess we are experiencing a language problem with the form of your challenge.

You're funny, but I'll just clarify for everybody else out there.

One ship sank a German submarine, an Italien submarine and a Japanese submarine during the war. One sub from each nation, this is the key. Which ship was it?

Not a problem, just having re-read the question it could have been confusing.

Anyway, a bit more info, this ship also salvaged the Enigma from the German sub.
