Variable map-viewing scale

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

Variable map-viewing scale

Post by Cheesehead »

Apologies if this has already been covered. I would like to see a key function where you can zoom in and out on the map in at least 5 increments, similar to Civ2. This would allow for better strategic planning and prevent oversights (I forgot that transport was in Panama).
You can't fight in here...this is the war room!

The Zoom function already exist, or rather, already existed in Chris' CWiF.
There were if I'm not misslead 5 increments, but some were rather useless because the map & units wer no more readable.

Anyway, to avoid forgetting a unit, there were "next selectable unit" and "previous selectable unit" keys that allowed you if you wanted so to cycle through all the selectable unit in a given phase.
Using his, you were guarantied to forget nothing.

This and the Show Unit Function (and its filters) were wonderful. I hope they will still be part of MWiF.

Cheers !
