No. 457 RAAF Sqdn

When I played the Aug 1942 Scenario #14 the No. 457 RAAF Sqdn was in Melbourne equipted with Spitfire Vbs and was moved to Port Morsby to become one of my most effective fighter squadrons. Now playing a modified Scenario #16 the No. 457 RAAF Sqdn on 6/17/42 indicates that it will arrive the next day equipted with 16 Spitfire Vbs but on 6/18/42 it arrives with Hurricanes and upgrades to Spitfire VIIIs. What happened to the Spitfire Vbs that the squadron was equipted with the turn before and why can't I upgrade to Spitfire Vbs?

This happends when there are not enough of the incoming aircraft (Spit V's in this case) in the pool to fill out the group so the computer fiilled the unit out with an aircraft type that there were enough of. The will follow the substuted auir groups upgrade path.
