Say What?

Gary Grigsby's World At War gives you the chance to really run a world war. History is yours to write and things may turn out differently. The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

Say What?

Post by neuromancer »

Apparently GameSpy has either been smoking something they shouldn't have, or is fundamentally confused. I was looking the list of games planned for release this month and found this item:

9/07 World at War (Matrix Games)

For a game not even out of Alpha yet?
Riiiiight.

Must have gotten their info from the same place as that store, EB Games I think it was.

Silly humans.

eb has the same date. That might have been the initial date the dev team had hoped for.

I think Joel was saying Q1 or Q2 2005 is realistic, but they still aren't locking down to hard and fast dates.

Sensible enough, even with the alpha going well, it is still only alpha.

I had some hopes for Q4 early on but it does look like a tad longer is realistic. If it is under the Xmas tree it will be a major bonus.
