The Submarine

Post by MButtazoni »

You may have noticed in this round of AAR's how well submarines are doing...

We have identifed 5 (yikes!) bugs associated with subs in the last week of testing. 4 of these bugs coincidentally favour the submarine. Once these are fixed the sub will remain a potent unit (no need to worry about that), they will just not be the long range persistent threat they are now.

I should also state that it is not a design decision to scale back the effectiveness on subs, it's just a coincidence that all these bugs favoured the sub.

NO!! Its an evil plot to sink the submarine!

I think we should start a World at War Submarines Fanboy club that will violently defend the right of the submarine to stay stupidly effective... er, I mean, historically effective and not get nerfed!

Rally to me sub fanboys!

Submariners of World at War unite!

And now, the readers that haven't frequented the War in the Pacific forum probably just think I'm a raving lunatic.

too late, changes are in and subs no longer have the teleporter pads to resupply torpedoes wherever they are.
