PBEM and .dat files

Post by mendipbus »

Hello

Does everyone else playing pbem get the .dat files created?

Started a pbem game last night, put my password in and played my first turn. pressed on red next turn arrow and it let me save the game.

Searched for the .dat file as it says in the manual, but could only find the .pws file.

This seems to work fine according to my pbem opponent, but just wondering is the .dat file supposed to be created? or is this a mistake in the manual?

Thanks all

It's a mistake in the manual. All save files are of the WITPNNN.PWS form.
