If I point the guns at the hyperion and fire the SECOND I press the trigger the hull flashes like it has been hit, this is something I have noticed for a while, and something that has always made it feel... wrong.. like the bolts just hit the hull instantly,
now I know whats up.
IF I point the bolts, JUST enough away from the hull they wont impact but still fly nearly the same path you see them fly from the gun and onward, but if I point them at the hull its an instant hit, to make it even more interesting, I managed to manovour so only 1 gun would hit the hull and the other pass by, the result, the gun pointed at the hull caused an INSTANT hit even BEFORE the other guns bolt had reached that point, its like the gam eis second guessing or greatly boosting that bolts speed
I think they should be changed, this is something that has always felt wrong to me when I attack cap ships, it feels like i"m shooting invisible bolts from the fighters when I get closer and really feels ... wrong, I ve even slowed the bolts down to 2000 to try to fix this, but now I see why I cant lol.
I posted some pics of it, if you want I can zip up the hyperion and sentri I used in this test so you can try what I attempted to explain here and see it for yourself.
Thanks
