This day in history....

Post by Resisti »

A man who then would have become worldwide known has the Colonel, aka the Kunel, aka The Wild One was born.

Now he's officially a "third age man".

Thanks colonel for hanging still in here with all those years on your shoulders, LOL

And thanks Massimo "Mad Italian" Rocca who remembered this date...

Many happy returns, Wild Bill.

Here's hoping you had a good one and enjoy many more.

I can't imagine what sort of present would compare to all the pleasure your scenarios and MC's have given me, but I can only wish you peace and happiness now and forever more.

Happy Birthday Wild One!! You truly are the one that's made this game and all of the SP series a joy for me. Many people - including me - have learned all they know about the game from you - and we thank you for the time you have given us.

If you measure your wealth by the number of people that love and care about you - you are the richest man I know!!

ENJOY YOUR DAY!!

They say that one of the things that "old" folks do is sit around and talk about the past.

The stories I could tell would be a lot of fun really. Not only in my personal life, but in the gaming community is that true.

I do count my blessings and my assets at this time in life, and as my long time fellow warrior Figmo has said, I've been supremely blessed with the fellowship of all of you.

You can't buy that. It is a gift from above. I'm grateful to all of you for your support, your constructive criticisms and for being there for me always. I am blessed.

Keep those good scenarios and reports coming! I know the Baron will have one for us soon <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> .

Resisti, you are a true gentleman for remembering this day. I can't tell you just how much these greetings mean to me.

God willing, we still have better days ahead. Keep me posted on your "jungle adventures" with MC-W. I think it will a good experience that you will long remember!

... and one more bouquet of good wishes to add to the mountain you've already got.

And, thanks for all you've done for the hobby over the years, and for this community in particular. It would be a whole lot different, and a whole lot less without your enormous and sustained contributions.

And finally, thanks for being an inspiration to all us who are over 60 ... for showing us you can be dynamic force for leadership even past the time when when those with less "life experience" expect us to retire to our rockers.

Long and happy life!
