Where can I download user created scenarios for HTTR? I checked the drop zone and they only have ones for RDOA and I also checked wargamer.com and they don't have any.[8|]

Some new scenarios and mods are on the way; mine and El Saviors' are what I know of anyhow.

JeF has provided the following scenario updated from RDOA (the first game in the series):

ftp://ftp.wargamer.com/pub/Dropzone/dep ... kRidge.zip

I'm not sure, but I think all the files at the Drop Zone are for RDOA:

http://www.wargamer.com/hosted/dropzone/

Click on the "depot" section. If they are for RDOA, they won't work instantly with HTTR, they'll need some massaging.

Also: Paul Robert's Arnhem Campaign Varient: Hohenstaufen Holiday tm.asp?m=696984 ... send Paul a message for the file.

Hmm, what kind of massaging ? I'd be interested in knowing the answer [:)]

Basically you would need to recreate them from scratch in HTTR's ScenMaker. You could (especially if you have a twin-monitor setup) probably open the RDOA ScenMaker on one monitor and the HTTR ScenMaker in the other to make this easier. The included HTTR Template scenario would speed things up a fair bit since that's already got your forces in it.

Quite a few of the old RDOA scenarios would probably be a little unbalanced or not that great in other ways, so it would give you the opportunity to improve them to suit the better engine in HTTR.

Well, that's what I feared. [:(]

Absolutely no way of making a conversion tool ? I'd probably have the ability to do this in Visual Basic (depending on what exactly would have to be done, of course), if I knew precisely the file formats ... [:)]

Heheh. While we were at it we could show you the source code for all the AI routines.... [;)]

As far as a conversion utility goes, RDOA and HTTR are far too different in code terms and data structures to be able to easily transfer scenarios from one to the other. When we wanted to update scenarios from RDOA to include them in HTTR (including the historical campaigns), guess how we did it?

Lol, I have strictly no interest in the AI routines, quite the contrary it would spoil the fun [:'(]

Ok, I give up on this idea.

as far as maps go, can we use RDOA with HTTR?
It is sincerity and faithfulness. It is self-sacrifice, duty, adherence to principle and unwavering loyalty to one's lord despite what the lord stands for, good or evil. It is an acceptance of one's place and status.

Good Question!

I dl'd Golf's Juno map, but was unable to open it in the Map Maker that ships with HTTR.

I'm hoping there is some trick to doing this... would love to create a new scenario for that map.
