In adition to the underflow bug with bombers attacking at over 32768 feet, it has been reported that bombers carrying multiple bombs can sometimes hit with more than one bomb. This is supposed to be impossible and needs to be fixed. It is easy to see multiple hits now, using the underflow bug, but it will be harder to see once that bug is fixed.
You say this is impossible? Why? If the bombload is "salvoed" (dropped all together)
it's not impossible for several bombs to land within the space occupied by a ship.

In one of the patch notes, it was mentioned that LB would only be allowed 1 hit per attacking plane to reflect the "typical" string of bombs, which would generally only produce one hit with the others short or long. This should only occur to level bombers, not FB. As to any reported "multiple" bomb hits from LB's, I personally have not seen it. Perhaps the players are not noting the number of planes in the "unit" striking the target? I have seen one where a 4 plane Martin unit at 6k got 3 hits on an AK. If one wasn't watching close or misinterpreted the situation, they might get the impression that the "rule" for LB was being violated.
Sing to the tune of "Man on the Flying Trapeze" ..Oh! We fly o'er the treetops with inches to spare,
There's smoke in the cockpit and gray in my hair.
The tracers look fine as a strafin' we go.
But, brother, we're TOO God damn low...
I need a save where the turn starts with the right commander in command of a ship and after you run the turn another commander for the other side is now in command.
Then I need for you to exit the game reload the save and verify the right guy is there and rerun the turn and if he gets switched again then that is the save I need. I will need to know the ship involved and the commanders names before and after and where the unit is located on the map so I can test our new version to see if the issue is still occuring.
Almost forgot... If anyone has a save you can send it to me at
I'm sure we all want it fixed, but finding the exact turn that it occurs and reproducing it on demand ain't easy. That tends to be the case with broken database pointers.
This game does not have a learning curve. It has a learning cliff.
for the developers to find the "why", they need the save of the turn before it happens. Yes it is a pain, but all you can do is save EVERY turn until the problem occurs....then send the saves (before and after)

I understand that. [:)] They also need it to be reproducable on demand, which I suspect is going to be the difficult part. If I see it happen to me, I'll go back thru my saves to look for it. But I'm only saving back five turns and by its nature its a problem that doesn't always get noticed immediately. (Be honest. How many of you routinely check the CO of every TF/air unit/LCU every turn? [:D])
