On the allied leader issue, I have seen it multiple times but I have not been able to make it repeatable. IE rerun the turn, and it doesn't happen. I will keep trying.

My experience, as well. I'm beginning to think that this is not repeatable, that there is just a code hole somewhere allowing random replacement of leaders at unpredictable times under conditions we don't understand.

That should be easy to find and fix. When you're done, Pry, go help the guys at NASA with the space shuttle.

I'll also keep trying to get one that repeats.

Part of the problem is it may have something to do with some *other* bug that has absolutely nothing to do with it that is actually the event that causes it to happen. Thats pretty normal with this stuff. A lot of bugs vanish that way simply because they were not actually bugs, they were results of bugs.

One trick that may help, after you catch a suspect save in order to see if it really repeats completely exit the game and then start again and run the save. In some other issues I noticed that if you just rerun the turn in the same session it appears not to repeat but if you exit and restart it actually does.

The help with this is really appreciated,

Pry,

I might have one right now, waiting for ship training to complete. It has repeated 2 times going for three before I declare it repeatable.

Ok great Rich, you are the save King today, note which units are affected and their location on the map so I can go right to them, then send save to me at

I tested the save from SeaWolf K in 1.21 and verified the problem, I then tested with our current test verson and This "Leader Leak" as some of you have taken to calling this issue, well you all can stick a fork in it, it appears to be done...

The issue no longer occurs in our current test version

Excellent! Happened to me this morning, fortunately not with a 'key' leader...but it hurts knowing that it's there.
I can rationalise my way around it, sorta - He got sick, for example - but it's difficult to see how a WO takes over...[:D]

I just got the word that the target date for the 1.3 patch is Oct 28. Sorry for the delay.

We will be working on another patch after this. One item that I will focus on for improvements is filters. If you look at the Wish list, you will note that I've stared adding items to the list. Just because I did not add your item to the list does not mean it's a dead issue, just not a high priority for the next patch. And of course we will be fixing any known bugs.
