Will it be possible to change control of countries over the course of a game? In a long game it is likely that someone will quit for various reasons. Will it be possible to continue the campaign with the country under AI control or pass control to a new player?

The game takes a long time. I would be nice if you could somehow place time limits on player turns. I'm going to assume the pbem turns will operate somewhat like WitP where a player takes his turn and mails the files to everyone else. Would it be possible to take a time stamp off the email and use it to apply a time limit to the next player? Perhaps if the next player doesn't mail out his/her turn within the established time limit the program could enable any of the other players generate the non-responsive players turn under AI control and mail it out. I'm not a programmer so I don't know if its doable, just a thought.
