Does it allow the AV support to help? If so whats your complaint? ) The allies are saddled with small AV bases and a million aircraft. This unit could be the answer ).

I've noticed lots of units that start with more equipment than what's listed in the TO&E (check some of the Dutch inf units). My guess is the designer incorporated smaller company and platoon sized units into the local garrisons to avoid creating the smaller units. I've never actually seen a unit grow beyond it’s listed TO&E, just seen the ones that started that way.

Oops stike my last statement, went in and checked my game. You are right, not only has the unit grown, its underlying TO&E has changed. Here's the same unit on Timor in early Feb 42:

This is indeed a bug. In another thread, I discussed a base unit that had 245 5.5" coastal defense guns. This base unit started out near Lae and ended up in the Gilberts. It started out with 2 5.5" CD's.

245 5.5" CD guns? Wow thast is amazing. The big question is how many rounds do they give to each gun, cause that gets to be a supply problem real fast. The Gilberts you say? How well did your shore bombardment and LBA take them out, shoudl have been easy they were in nice neat rows.

It was Makin Atoll, which is approximately 2.6 square miles of flat terrain, leaving approximately 100 5.5" guns per square mile. It took over a month, with 6 BB's ending up in the U.S. repairing sytem damage. Basically, the only way to knock them out is by destroying all supply with heavy bombers. This bug only emphasizes the utter ridiculous nature of the entire bombardment process.
