4.0.3

Post by Pheonix Starflare »

Since it is (presumably) nearly through testing, could we have a final bug-fix list?

In particular I'm wondering if this issue has been addressed: Once SS is set to 1280x800, the menu will reset to 1280x960 when the options panel is accessed again, so that if you hit 'apply' when changing something else (enabling a mod, for example) the resolution is set to the wrong setting inadvertantly.

OK first 4.0.3 Bug report...
Dont worry, its nothing major, just a little graphical thing, possibly a result of of the (quite spiffy) lighting.

I noticed while flying the 'Honor Guard' single mission that harmony station's z-buffer is slightly off. As the two following screens show, when the camera is centered on the station and zoomed in part of the non-rotating section is hidden behind the rotating section. These two pictures are taken one mousewheel 'tick' apart as far as zoom goes.

Here's the second screen: just a tad further away than the first one.

I know milo said a long time ago that the 32bit used a much better z-buffer than the 16bit.

On your B5 ships, this occurred in conjunction with the rotating sections?
