What version of BiN to purchase?

Battles In Normandy is the third game in the Decisive Battles game series. Battles in Normandy recreates all aspects of the Normandy campaign, from the landings on the first day to the final climax of the campaign at Falaise. Strategic Studies Group rewrote the Decisive Battles game engine for Battles in Normandy with a host of new special rules for amphibious and airborne operations, plus a huge number of other enhancements.

What version of BiN to purchase?

Post by Champagne »

Folks, what's the advantage of buying the version that comes in the mail versus the version that we download from our computer?

Does the version that comes by snail mail come with a printed manual of any kind?

Thank you.

I have just bought the box version because I am a collector:need a nice box and a labelled CD. That's the only explanation that I can give you.[:)] no advantage at all...
If you were expecting a printed manual you will be quite disappointed as only a PDF manual is available with the game.[:(]

Champagne,

Here's what I understand your options to be:

1. digital download (works best for me, have high speed connection & CD Read/Write capability)

2. digital download plus Boxed CD in the mail (good for someone without CD Read/Write capability)... No printed manual

3. Boxed CD in mail (best for someone who doesn't have access to high speed connection)... again no printed manual
