Automatic victory

Post by Morgan Schiff »

Am playing as Japan in the campaign game against the AI and doing quite well. As of July 1942 have 20400 VPs vs the Allied 5900. The manual says an auto victory will be attained if one side has FOUR times the VPs of the opponent in 1943 and at this rate I think I will achieve that pretty easily.

Does it mean my game will end there and then? Is there any way of disabling this automatic victory (due to VPs attained)? I REALLY don't want it to, as I want to go into 1944-5 and give the US a real chance to counterattack me!

Read the earlier threads. For 1.3, after achieving an auto-victory, you can opt to keep playing if you wish.
