Can't Jump above Zero!

Can Anyone tell me if its possible to jump into a sector above the Zero Z axis coordinate.
Trying to to do an Planet side scenario. Ship Jumps in at 0 z Axis and explodes.

By 'jump' do you mean quantum jump or do you mean starting a mission in a fighter over a planet? If you make the mission outside the game (Ie just edit the mission.def file) you can set the x,y,z co-ords to whatever you'd want.

[&o]Actually I was referring to the nav points. Given a positive z coordinate.
Quantuming from one space sector to a planetary sector. Ship jumps in a zero z elevation and explodes. Have had success with jumpgates in atmosphere above 25k.
Wondering if quantums can be more accurately controlled.
While I'm typing what about Bump maps and planet glow maps.
I heard something about battle damage. Leaving scorch marks after weapon hit.

Well, stock SS capships arn't meant for atmospheric duty, they would all crash pretty soon after quantuming.
The thing is, as far as I can tell, milo wants Quantum jumping to have a random element to it, adding some uncertainty whenever it's used. Now, at some point he may add someway to quantum to exact co-ords, Damo will be lobbying for this feature I'm sure for his B5 mod.
