Wheres my carriers Mr Yamamoto???

Post by Miller »

Playing scenario 17 as the Japs. Currently July 43, have sunk all of the US pre Essex class carriers and only lost one CV and a couple of CVL's.. Problem is I sent all my remaining CVs to Tokyo for repairs, but none have been sent back.

The US are starting to hit PM and Laguna hard with theit Essex CV's/Independence CVL's and despite the fact I have 6 CV's and 4 CVL's in Japan none are being sent to me! I cannot do anything with my BB's or CA's as they get clobbered by land and carrier based planes.

Is their any way of getting my CV's back??? [&:]

Try to increase your commitment level from low to moderate by sending back to Tokyo all your theather useless ships.(BB's,CL's,etc...)
You should also send back some DD's as your CV's need an escort to be released to South Pacific.
Hope this help.

Regardless, your chances of releases especially in scen 17 vs 19 is very small. Unless your Japanese carriers are really damaged-never send them home after Jan 1, 1943.
