freezing?

Well here's a new one. Game running great, really having a good time. Whoop the AI in scenario 1, then scenario2. The movie (intro to #3) plays properly, then the screen goes black..... and nothing. Ive waited several minutes, no change. I can only get out by cntr-alt-delete and terminating the process, which shows memory use but 0% CPU use. I've reloaded several times, no go. I've decreased my desktop resolution, no go. No error messages. I have Radeon 9800PRO, P4 3.2gHz and 1G of RAM. Any one else encounter this? Any suggestions? Thanks, Kevin. PS using most recent catalyst drivers and directx 9.0c.

Here's some things to try:

Can you Alt-Tab to desktop, then Alt-Tab back to the game? Still black?

Can you cancel the movie while it is playing by hitting Escape? Still black?

Make sure audio drivers are up to date.
Make sure Microsoft Media Player 9 or higher is installed and up to date.
