I would like that all new arrivals appear in the summary so you dont miss them, that cant be that hard to fix.

This has been asked for repeatidly. They do not intend to add this because there is only one Operations Report that is read by both sides, so the enemy would be told of your new arrivals as well.

(Yes, we thought of that too. They haven't commented on having two Ops Reports.)

Now the question:
When is it coming out?

I really hope sometime today... so we can get it for the weekend? I thought they were on the last last stage of completion.

Thanks for having the - um - intestinal fortitude to bring us all back to the real subject. The rest of the last month's palaver on these forums has been nothing more than whistling past the graveyard.

I had three PBEMs going in mid-September (along with two vs.-the-AI games, one on each side, in order to experiment and learn). When the "leader leak" sprung, the "red zero radar upgrade bug" bit, and the "land combat retreat goofiness" emerged, all were abandoned on the mutually agreed ground (well, I didn't consult the AI, which probably would have had a stupid answer, anyway) that these were game-killing faults. We have been sitting idle with regard to WitP play for d@mned near a month, and we're getting tired of it.

It should be noted in passing that the four of us spent a total of approximately $320 US on this game. We'd like to get back to playing it, please.

Pas...

I too had hoped to get the Patch for this weekend since I have 3 AI Campaign Games on hold since some of the more serious " issues " ( which some mean folks might say make the Game unplayable ) came to light shortly after the release of, and extended playing with, the 1.2 Patch.

I would note that the download date I have on the 1.2 patch is 8/1/2004, which by my math is a lot more then a Month.

I realize that many of our fellows on the Forum are working their butts off for free to get it done, but combining a Bug Fix Patch with an enhancement Patch has always led to problems and delays.

That`s all I have to say on the matter except this: it is becoming an unhappy experience.

The patch has been locked and sent to Matrix to do their thing. Keep in mind it takes more work than obvious for them to get it put on the site.

Ok that makes my life easier, no more improvements until all the bugs are ironed out.

Thank You Sir, that would seem the rational thing to do, now just get Billings, Grigsby, Wood and Heath to see the light bulb.
