For the patch - Victory "congratulations" you lose!

Battles In Normandy is the third game in the Decisive Battles game series. Battles in Normandy recreates all aspects of the Normandy campaign, from the landings on the first day to the final climax of the campaign at Falaise. Strategic Studies Group rewrote the Decisive Battles game engine for Battles in Normandy with a host of new special rules for amphibious and airborne operations, plus a huge number of other enhancements.

For the patch - Victory "congratulations" you lose!

2. Axis won by 811 points yet it says congradulations in the victory screen. This just seems weird to me.

Hmmm, haven't seen the end game screen for a loss... does sound a little odd.

This is from another thread. And I concur I've just seen it in action! Though in my case, we took Carentan, Cherbourg and on the second last turn Caen! Killed much of the panzer presence across the entire front but it wasn't enough and the Allies went down by 909 points! Ooh the AI pulled some suprises at the end.

The victory screen announced a "Marginal German Victory" and gave me the message "Congratulations!" [:D]

Could it just be that the victory categories need to be changed to the Allied perspective? Or is the game possibly just reading them wrong from the Allied side? Anyway FYI SSG.

Can't wait to try again [;)]

I knew that the "new ai" was cunning and very tough but...polite?[:D][;)]
