I secured Malaya completely and rested the forces there before planning the invasion of India. I try not to be too gamey. I will bend the first turn rules, but turn 1 invasion towards India is way to gamey for me.

Launched the invasion as soon as Bataan fell. Had 4 divisions or so in Singapore and about 4-5 in the PI.

Ok, even if you want to make historic, you can put a fleet of APs carrying the bulk of the southern army, escorted by 2-3 CV and a comfortable number of surface vessels, right off Singapore on turn one, then sail off to India on turn two on.

It give Allias about 10 days of advance notice, but now they don't know where the landing is going to take place. The Indian coastline is long. As long as the invadsion begins on the first month, the Allias do not have enough LCUs to ccounter. [8D]

The top priority of course is Karachi and Bomdbay, so to stop future UK reinforcement. It is gamey, but it can also be intrepted as the Jap is helping out the Germans in Africa by going west. So UK might not able to spare troops to the east after all.

I'm still interested in knowing what will happen to the UK withdraw requirement and the supply. I recall before v2.0 on UV, supply & fuel will still arrive at Noumea after the base being captured. [:D]

My two cents, a computer model of the pacific war is restrictive enough (not to mention about the bugs we have to live with), it is only fair that players can make gamey moves within reason. [8|]

Just this last turn, the IJN spotted 3-4 TFs NE of it's position. The IJN CVs had attacked Colombo during first phase, but alas, the RN hex was socked in and the Nelsonian touch was lacking as the Albacores fail to launch...will not say when but hint, I've yet to see a night launch by RN vs naval ships. Not sure if Freeboy noticed the Walrus sighting reports, pretty sure he did as I anticipated his NE advance along the west coast of India and remained at long to extreme range.Does anyone know the secret how to get the RN to launcha CV night strike? So much for the game of cat and mouse I've been playing for almost a week now.[8|] This turn might be bad for the Royal Navy but Freeboy's CV groups have been seriously attritted overMadras and Trincomalee.

Ron took a beating in defending Ceylon and Tricomalee, but has a bulwark in Dacca, and Burma .. I had hoped he would pull back and try to stem the tide but Madras remains a lightly defended outpost and soon will join the yellow side... I continue to grow in units /supplies. airbase quality.. taking tricom is really going to help there as all my other bases in the area where tiny and hard to support. Fleets are moving to invade SRA as we beging the third stage of operation yellow fog, aka the liberation of India...

There should be a chance as I take these colonial posts of native levies, after all four Indian divisions as I recall where formed by the Japs, what would have happened if they where nice to there Indian Brothers? lol
