Where to purchase in Australia

Post by drgrieve4 »

Hi all,

I've been playing the freeware version for a couple of years. I would like to buy the full version so I can create some campaigns and show off my uber-death titan designs. [:D]

Anyone know where in Australia, and perferably Sydney I can find this????

It's a little ironic I buy a game one every two years (I'm extremely picky) and I can't find it locally anywhere.

Another question. I've previously registered as drgrieve, but I cannot seem to login. And the request password feature doesn't send although it says it has and I've sent an email to the forum admin but no response. Can some please give me access back to my old account. Thanks. I had to create a yahoo account just to send this - a little annoying.

Same here, I had an old account as 'Bblue' that was inactive for a while. Password experience same as yours, including a 'dummy' e-mail account at hotmail so I could re-regeister as 'Sleeping_Dragon". Never did get any help recovering the old account, even after several e-mails to the forum admin/support. Best suggestion I can give you is.... get used to being 'drgrieve4' [8|]

Sick! I pay more for postage than the game. Note due to bug in store I cannot select "International Postage" only UPS if that matters.

I am aware of the options of buying internationally but as I said in the post can you buy the game locally?

I will look into Amazon option --- they don't ship outside of US for video games

"Toys, games, and video games can be shipped only to locations within the U.S., U.S. protectorates, and APO/FPO addresses."

Thanks.

An update on my search:

Matrix Games: Cannot select correct shipping due to javascript error
Amazon, Compusa: Do not ship internationally
Ebay: Not available in australia or internationally do not ship to australia
DvdEmpire: Out of stock. One month + delay.
Vortigern Strategic Software (local): Not able to get stock
Justplay: Do not sell locally and is out of stock

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Hi,

We are checking into the store shipping error regarding Australia. Check in again tomorrow and it may be solved.

Vortigern Software in Australia carried a few of our titles in the past. You may try them and see if they have any in stock.

Ordering with JustPlay ? They stated

"Just Play, a division of Just Flight Ltd., today announced that it had signed a contract with leading wargaming and strategy games specialist Matrix Games, to exclusively distribute Matrix Games’ range of products throughout Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand."

Not sure if this is really true.

Thanks for information Erik. I contacted Vortigern Software but they are having trouble in getting the stock. Darin Warren of Vortigern Strategic Software has given me permission to post his email that he sent to me.
Hi,
Unfortunately I am unable to get Matrix games to supply to us After 8 months
of calls and emails I have given up. So I can not at this time supply Titans
of Steel. Hopefully in the near future this will change.
Sorry
Darin Warren
Vortigern Strategic Software

He is still interested but has not yet received any response.

Larkin: In regards to Just play I could not find a way to order from Australia - just the USA or UK and they are out of stock.

I have rechecked all sites and updated the list a few posts back.

Thanks - DrGrieve

Internationational Post should be available to Australia as of a couple of weeks ago. Please let me know if it's available for you know, it shows up here.

Regarding Vortigern, we'll follow up on that but I'm unaware of eight months of phone calls and e-mails, though Dave may have a clue on this. He may be referring to the fact that our new games are distributed only through the Matrix Store via digital download or game on demand, but that doesn't affect our older titles like Titans of Steel, which are purely boxed games.
