No screenshots yet. There are 5 fronts, east, west, italy, balkans and caucasus, hated to leave out the middle east but had to.

I know, I wasn't happy I had to leave out the middle east either and by the time I decided I could probably do it it was too late.

is it possible for a future patch?

Its the area where my Great Grandfather and 2 of his brothers fought (one of whom is still there at Gallipolli) most of their war

Just to find out. At one time I thought the Gallipoli penninsula was included in the game. Is it still in, at least both sides of the straights so Winnie can have his go at bombarding Constantinople.

The Balkan front includes Serbia and Romania as well as Greece and Bulgaria, so it always sees action.

Yes, Constantinople and the north half of Anatolia is there so Gallipoli and Caucasus fighting is available.

Now for the 64$ Dollar question.

With the scale of the game I would imagine that most costal hexes would have enough beach(s) to land on. Or are you limited to historical spots only to land?

I wouldn't exactly say that owing to the thousands killed there. I'm sure their fight and sacrifice was not worthless.

However, the Balkan theatre was not adequately handled by either side. The British had the right theory behind attacking there, but I don't believe they had the right command structure or supplies to get anything happening which would claim victory.

The path to peace was always thought of as France and Germany. After Russia left the conflict the "western" front became ever more critical for the Allies, which is why the Balkans took a secondary role.

But there was plenty of fighting and death in the Balkans...

Amphibious invasions have to be at a port. You have to capture the port to be in supply the next turn.

Dint saw much fighting? Quite plainly speaking....ARE YOU NUTS????? OMG inbred iggnorance some of the most colorful and fluid fighting of the whole of WWI was in the three Turkish fronts, not even to mention the 1,500,000 dead Armienians. Mister X I surely know why you use a X pesudonym , out of lack of historical knowledge.

Nothing personal old chap I just feel like a colorful response!
