Enemy air radius

Post by Zigfreid »

Maybe I missed this, but is there an "enemy air radius" hotkey? ala pacwar 'spacebar'. Certainly helps to not have to count hexes for those damn bettys. Thanks in advance.

Noone even going to comment? That was a useful feature in pacwar, I think it should be in WitP. Maybe 1.4, anyone?

Also, I'm having troubles with my auto convoys routing right through enemy territory or karachi refueling at PH first before going to Broom, ect. Any patch or fix to these problems?

I don't think you're going to get a feature that discloses the types of AC stationed at your enemy's bases.

I don't use auto-convoys, although patch 1.30 was said to improve convoy routing. I still don't trust AI officers.

I say "don't" a lot, don't I?

Enemy Air radius - No, its fog of war, you have to learn the hard way just like they did in real life.

Agreed, I NEVER use auto-convoys.............I just don't trust the AI and would rather blame myself for a cock-up than use the excuse that it was the AIs fault.

Done (I think) for Win2K and XP. Found an NT specific API call so I've got to redo a bit for 98/Me users. Bad news is though I'm developing it on a Win2K system, I'll be playing WitP on an Me system so I'd like to get that done. If I don't get time this weekend to finish the 98/Me bit, I may release it anyway for Win2K & XP users to break.

Now, a tool for estimating the ranges of enemy aircraft potentially stationed at a base would be very nice (some of the other features look interesting, as well). I had forgotten your post, Bodhi, and I am glad you are sticking with the development.

I downloaded Net Frame from Microsoft a few hours ago. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.[8D]
