SENKOU!

(also known as "Sink-You")

This will be the AAR of me playing Japan against sven6345789 playing as the Allies. I'll be using my strategic plan I've called Senkou - which relies rather heavily on surprise. (If anyone wants to have a look at it send me a PM. You'll be sworn to secrecy on pain of a Japanese labor camp).

What a great word! Is it typical in Japanese for a word to have so many different meanings?

Well it's a "sound". They are all written differently, and I'm sure pronounced with different intonations too.

(I don't speak Japanese but have some notions of Chinese - intonations make the difference, but may be close to undetectable to western ears).

Report for 12/10/41

Well, once again not much happened; my planes did attack two transports sucessfully, but somehow i do not think it will stop him; guess i will run out of planes and bases before he runs out of ships (at least at this time)

12/11/41

Again very quiet. Seems the Allies chose to be wise and pull away. In the short run this benefits me as my plans go ahead uninterrupted but of course it robs of me of any chance of sinking ships that will be impossible to get at later. An example: I have the entire Phillipine sea cowered by Bettys but not a single Allied ship is in sight.

On to my plans: Phase one in DEI is now complete - Northern Bornea has air cower and phase two will commence.
