Another export utility

Post by Arkady »

Hi,

few weeks ago I started development of new editor for WITP. Unfortunately now I have not enough time to complete it and michaelm created fast working extractor earlier (and now superb checker).

For my work I prepared some tools, here yo can try one of it.
http://www.arkady.cz/witp/WITPExporter.zip ... with Graphical User Interface

It's full referenced extractor to CSV sheets => numbers are substitued with correspnding values from other tables and only useful columns are exported. For some data you can filter export only for Japs or Allies if you wish.

You need .NET Framework (free download from Microsoft)
Can be installed everywhere

Select scenario and then extract data you want, CSV files are stored in current directory.

No further development but all errors and bugs should be cleared, please report it.
thanks

Thanks Arkady, will check it out.

Just an aside, but I thought you were writing it in Delphi rather than using the Net framework.

thanks Spooky but it's not necessary [:)]
but you can make hyperlink to the file on my server if you want

this way it'll be always up to date for any changes and updates (no bugs reported yet....maybe because no one use it [:D] )

Thanks "Arkady"!

BTW, you picked wrong time to release this since all are playing with new v1.30 patch... [;)]

Arkady - any chance of your utility being modified to download factory data? I have been putting together some spreadsheets of Japanese production, and it is very painful to manually write down all of the locations and factories.

I almost forgot, nice utility and thank you for your efforts.[&o]
