Aircrafts put in reserve

Post by seblinselles »

I ve noticed that more aircraft are put in reserve in 1.3 game.
I've sufficient pilot to fly then.
My carrier AC is below max.
I know they 're supposed to be remplacement for loses.
Is it a bug or those planes in reserve are damaged planes that cannot be repaired at sea?

Aircraft can be placed in reserve if there are insufficient supplies or aviation support.
The above rule applies to Land aircraft, however.

It could be a factor of morale or carrier damage that is limiting it.

Also, what is the level of Air Sorties? I have noticed some decrease in available aircraft when the number of Sorties left drops down to about 40%. This could be the naval air equivalent to land's insufficient supplies.[&:]

An air unit can never have more ready aircraft than that unit's Max Ready Aircraft value, seen in parens in the upper left corner of the air unit info screen.
