Hi!

Well some of the vets from the UV days might remember me as an old UV/WitP tester. I have not touched WitP since april more or less since I did not have the time to test anymore. Anyway that makes me sort of "green" but I still got it I think [:D]

I play games till it's finished and I guess UV gamer's appreciated that. So that is important if you want to play against me you will stick it out till the bitter end. I noticed something with UV...players did something to get a great victory but when they failed (some did beat me of course) they said it was no purpose continuing. So please if you feel you would quit a game once something bad might happen look away and don't reply.

1941-45 is what I want. Veterans and well known people may only reply (sorry but with so much time to invest I go with the well known opponents of the forum)

I can not guarante one day per turn since I spend some days per week at my girlfriend's. But unless I die you will get a fight to the end.

Long time no hear, I am looking for one more game. Playing Kid now and waiting on Mogami and Ron. As you are the only one to beat me in UV I'd like a rematch.

It would be -one- game against the both of us. Knavey likes to run the US, and I play UK, Dutch, Oz, and pretty much everything else. Essentially, you'd send the completed turn to either of us (say for instance, me), I make my moves, send the "un-ended" file to Knavey, he makes his moves, ends the turn, and sends it to you.

Of course, if you want a team-mate, that works too. It's just a matter of slowing the game down a bit, because the file has got to be punted around. But it also makes for an interesting dynamic. Be advised our "advantage" is that Knavey and I really are brothers, live in nearby towns, and -do- get on the phone every night to discuss/argue over strategy. It -is- an advantage because we're not constrained by short emails of "what are we gonna do about...?"

We usually can do a turn every other day (because it sometimes takes us the extra day to punt it back and forth).

Your taking a week is fine. To be honest, I'm not positive that Knavey has time to play a second game (gotta ask). But his work schedule should slack off a bit after Thanksgiving, so he might be up for it. If it ends up a decline, then you've still got your Turn 1 done, and can punt it to whomever you like.

Options are pretty much up in the air for us. If you Jap Sup Doctrine is on, then Allied Sup Doctrine should be on. I don't think we care about historical starts or anything else. We play fairly conventionally, and frankly, I don't really care about house rules (beat us any way you can I say). Most house rules tend to handicap the IJN player (IMHO), and frankly IJN needs all the help they can get. But if there's something you're concerned about, best to mention it in the open to start.

What else...?

Number of days per turn? 2 is fine with me (not Knavey's preference tho). But I know one takes forever. Your thots?

I have a 2 day turn ready as the IJN. scen 15 normal settings. If that suits you Kid has the allied password. Otherwise it will be a week or so to produce a new beginning turn. Looking forward to battle!

Heyas U2.

I just spoke with Knavey. We're good for the game. One-day turns (like you requested). CV only units on CVs if you want (but read my private message, this is actually handled in WitP differently than in UV). And size restrictions on TFs is ok too. Like I said, if Jap Sub Doctrine "off" then Allied Doctrin "off", or if Jap Doctrine "on", the Allied Doctrine "on". You can vary setup, or arrival times, doesn't really matter to us. Reminder that this would be more liesurely paced game, because we usually do one turn every other day; so we'll be playing when we're grandfathers... :^)
