Who does the nice banner sigs that I keep seeing?

Post by Feinder »

First, nice job.

Second, I'm jealous.

Third, how do I go about getting one with maybe the Prince of Wales and "Royal Navy Fanboy" or something...?

Most people tend to make their own. That's what I did.

True as that is Tankerace, there's folks on this forum that have found sources for some PHENOMENAL WW2 art! I got lucky since I'm a Bomber fan in finding my B29 pic, but there's others I've seen on here that jus make the ole mouth water.

Good stuff all round to be sure. [8D]

Didn't have a decent Prince of Wales pic handy. Will the Duke of York do?

True...and she didn't get ignominously sunk either. [:D] But she did enter the Pacific War rather late.

I was jealous as well, so I just made myself a completely ahistorical and very improbable signature banner [:D]

Nice job CatLord. D520.

Did you know Matrix also publishes "World War 2 Online", a D520 is actually modeled in the sim (it's a combined arms on-line game). If you've got a fairly high-end box, and a bit of patience (not terribly user friendly at first), it's a decent game. They frequently offer free trials (free download) for about a month. If you're enamored with the D520 and other things of 1940 - 1941 ilk, it might be worth trying for you. Has D520, H75 among others. See that you're from UK. They've also got Hurricane 1 and 2, Spit 1 and 5, Boston, Blen1, Daimler, Crusader, and Matty (among many others).

And thanks again for the sig Platoonist! I got it working!
