My PCGamer says WAW is released 1 November

Post by meyerg »

I guess my PCGamer saying WAW by Matrix was released Nov. 1 is wrong? Sid Meier's pirates is slipping their release date of Nov. 16 seven days and the horrid WW2 adaption of Kohan 2 (Axis and Allies) made its Nov. 2 release date. Any update on WAW?

Matrix announced awhile ago that the release month for GGWaW is February. That's looking good at the moment.

Beware of computer Axis and Allies

Post by meyerg »

Awesome Joel.[:)] That gives everyone enough time to see how the computer Axis and Allies is and be ready to play WaW. By the way, the new boardgame Axis and Allies is a slight improvement over the old boardgame. But having a real-time Kohan 2 with many flaws in its port to a WW2 game using the name Axis and Allies is a real travesty.[:(]

I like what I'm hearing about this game and would like to know more. I received Axis and Allies back when it came out in like 1982 as a gift and loved playing it as a child. However, I find the battle resolution to be very disturbing as an adult and experienced soldier. I have played Empires in Arms from Avalon Hill as the board game and I eagerly await its release. This game I'm not familiar with and understand that it is not going to be released until Feb 05. Can somebody clue me in on this game?[&:]
